Human Papilloma Viruses (HPV) are small icosahedral viruses containing a double stranded DNA genome. Certain species have been implicated in cervical cancer and a vaccine has now been developed against these viruses. This vaccine was developed in Australia by Professor Ian Frazer. We distribute a video on cervical cancer that was made in 1987. Despite its age, that video emphasised the link between HPV and cancer.
